Rajeev Amara

Mr. Amara founded and oversees Golden Gate Capital’s Industrials Investing Practice, which comprises 12 companies aggregating to over $4 billion of revenues. The philosophy of the Industrials Practice is to invest in competitively differentiated market leaders and aggressively grow their earnings by prioritizing innovation and capital allocation. Mr. Amara graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of the University’s Graduate School of Education, one of the top-ranked educational research schools in the world.

Robert Kirby

Mr. Kirby is an Operating Partner with Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Kirby was previously CEO of Atrium. He was also the CEO of Vi-Jon, a leading private label manufacturer in the personal care market. Prior to this Mr. Kirby was CEO of Accellent, a leading contract manufacturer in the Medical Device market. Earlier in Mr. Kirby’s career, he was a General Manager and led Research & Development, and Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain at large cap companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark and Fort James. Mr. Kirby has broad-based experience in Consumer Personal Care, Over-the-Counter (OTC) and Medical Devices. During his 30-year career, he has led large-scale and complex integrations of acquisitions, implemented lean processes, and driven rapid, positive change.

Walter Solomon

Mr. Solomon’s 35+ year career spans a wide range of industries including Consumer Products/Retail, Specialty Chemicals, Automotive, Health Care, Software, and Professional Sports. He retired from Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH and VVV) after a decade as its Chief Growth Officer, where he oversaw a complete transformation of its business portfolio that generated a $7-billion increase in shareholder value. Mr. Solomon spent the first decade of his career in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble, followed by a succession of start-ups that included an Inc. 500 media company, a health care services company sold to a publicly held competitor, and a NASCAR Cup team. In addition to ANGUS Chemical Company, Mr. Solomon serves on the boards of directors of Shepherd Materials Company, and not-for-profit BBYO Inc., while also serving as an advisor for the Women’s Executive 50 community. He is the author of the book “Cubicle Tales” and has served as a guest blogger on leadership and marketing for Forbes. Mr. Solomon is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

Matt Jennings

Matt Jennings is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Phillips-Medisize Corporation, a Koch Industries company. Mr. Jennings has over 30 years of experience in leading transformational growth of businesses into healthcare. Mr. Jennings has extensive strategy, acquisition, operational improvement and innovation experience. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Spectrum Plastics Group, Spinal Elements Corporation and ANGUS Chemical Company. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Farmer School of Business at Miami University (Ohio) and the CEO Advisory Council for the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). Mr. Jennings previously served as President of the North American Medical business for Teleflex Inc, President and CEO of Bioenterprise Corporation, and has also held numerous general management and operating leadership positions with Baxter International and Allegiance Healthcare. He started his career in sales with Monsanto Corporation. Mr. Jennings holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and decision sciences from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a master’s degree in strategy and business development from Michigan State University.
